Payment Terms

Securing Your Date: A $295 deposit is payable within 7 days of our initial meeting to lock in your ceremony date and time.

The Balance: The remaining balance is due in full 30 days before your ceremony.

How it Works: You will receive an invoice for the full amount along with a clear progress payment schedule showing exactly what is due and when. 

Payment Methods: Payments can be made via Cash or Direct Deposit. Please use your Name or Invoice Number as the reference so I can track it easily. Once processed, a receipt will be emailed straight to you from my Xero accounting software.

Important Note: If full payment isn’t received by the 30-day mark before your ceremony, I reserve the right to withdraw from my obligation to perform the ceremony. (Let’s just keep communication open so it never comes to this!)

Refund Policy

If You Cancel:

  • 21 Days or More Notice: If you need to cancel your ceremony 21 days or more before the big day, all funds paid will be refunded in full, except for the non-refundable deposit.

  • 14 Days or Less Notice: If a cancellation happens within 14 days of the ceremony date, any refund (excluding the deposit) will be made at my discretion, depending on the circumstances.

If I Cancel:

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend or perform your ceremony, 100% of the funds you have paid (including your deposit) will be refunded to you immediately, and I will do my best to help you find an alternative celebrant.

Covid-19 & Government Health Directives:

If your ceremony simply cannot go ahead due to official Government Health Directives, 100% of all funds paid (including your deposit) will be fully refunded.

Alternatively, I am more than happy to accommodate a change of date or postponement with no additional rescheduling fees.

Music & Sound

Taking care of the music during the ceremony is your responsibility. However, to make things easier for you, you are very welcome to use my smartphone-compatible PA system.

Please note: The PA system is available for all bookings except for "Legals Only" ceremonies.

Travel Fees

I love a road trip, and there is no travel fee for ceremonies located within the Ipswich, Brisbane, Logan, or Gold Coast areas.

For ceremonies outside of these regions (beyond a 60km radius from my base location), a travel fee may apply, calculated at 25km worth of travel for every 10km travelled outside the boundary.

To ensure fairness and consistency for all my clients, this fee is calculated based on the shortest driving distance from my base in Spring Mountain, QLD (4300). This distance is determined solely using established mapping services (Google Maps or Apple Maps), and no other measurement methods or data sources will be used to calculate the travel fees. We can chat about this during our paperwork signing if it applies to your venue!
